It’s all about bringing people together to meet the needs of others. Cardwell said, “We feel that especially in these times, there is a crying need for outreach among people in their day today lives.” He further stated, “People are seeking organizations and opportunities to provide avenues of HOPE. “Our mission is to bring these organizations and needs together, to build better holistic communities in which we all live, work, and raise our families,” says Jeff Cardwell, Radio Talk Show Host.

The People Helping People Network was created and is hosted by Jeff Cardwell. The show is broadcast every Saturday morning at 11 on WICR 88.7 fm from the PHP Network Studio, located in the offices of Cardwell Do-it Best Home Center. The show is also broadcast on a number of other stations throughout Central Indiana including a live webcast. It’s all about building the bridge between those in need and those who serve.

Previous guests include Air Force General Chuck Yeager (Retired), World War II Veteran and the first man to break the sound barrier in 1947, Congressman Mike Pence, Ms. Maria Mercedes de Curz, survivor of the devastating earthquake on January 13th, 2001 in El Salvador, Central America, and Mrs. Ana Saca, the First Lady of El Salvador.

In a recent interview with Millard Fuller, the Founder of Habitat for Humanity International and founder of the Fuller Center for Housing, Mr. Fuller stated, “Jeff…I commend you for all that you are doing to help others. You have a wonderful mission and passion with the People Helping People Network. Keep up the good work.  You have created a great environment for others to put the faith into action.”

We are looking for people who are involved in meeting the needs of others. We want to hear their story on how they are providing HOPE and OPPORTUNITIES. There are HEROES all around us in our own communities. Help us to explore and provide an avenue of HOPE by “People Helping People”.
